Herbal medicine has a rich history of eclectic use for many health conditions. Several modern medicines today were isolated from plants. Most popular herbs also have a strong background of research supporting their use. You may be prescribed herbs in the form of capsules, tinctures, raw herbs or granules to be made into a tea.
